Today, I have a special tip for those of you who are looking for a way to work more efficiently.

Click the Sticky Password icon in the system tray and select Open Sticky Password.

HK1

In the main window click Menu and select Settings.

HK2

Click Hot Keys.

HK3

Here you can see the default Hotkeys for:

Lock / unlock Sticky Password (default hotkey Ctrl + Alt + L)

This is great for when you’re in a hurry and you need to lock Sticky Password quickly before leaving your computer. Press the hotkeys instead of clicking Sticky Password icon.

HK6

Enter password (default hotkey Ctrl + Alt + A)

If you are on a web page that contains a login form, just press the hotkeys. I use this mostly for web accounts where I have multiple logins. I simply press the hotkeys and the list of logins appears.HK4

Use virtual keyboard (default hotkey Ctrl + Alt + V)

The virtual keyboard feature is great against keyloggers! Extra tip: If you check the Anti spy checkbox nobody can see which keys you’ve really pressed. It’s very useful in libraries, cafes, and other public places.

HK5

Show/hide Quick Launch box (default hotkey Ctrl + Alt + R)

Do you have a lot of accounts and don’t want to search through all of them each time you want to access one of them quickly? Using the Quick Launch box is an easy time saver!

Press the hotkeys to open the Quick Launch dialog and then type the first few letters of your account until the choices appear and click on it. The Account opens in the new tab.

HK7

Of course, if you don’t like our default Hot Keys, you can create your own. Click in the field with the default hotkey and press your own  shortcut by pressing your preferred key combination.

Hot keys are just another way that Sticky Password makes working with your accounts easier – and safer!
