Creating A StickyAccount for Online Synchronization

Your StickyAccount allows you to safely and securely store your passwords and other data in the cloud using Sticky Password Cloud Storage. Of course, your passwords are always encrypted and protected. Because your data is no one’s business but your own, your Master Password is not stored in any database and is never transmitted over the Internet, which means that only YOU can access your passwords. To learn more about the strong security measures used by Sticky Password to ensure that your data is always secure, please download and read our White Paper: The Security Behind Sticky Password 7.)

With a StickyAccount, you’ll now be able to:
- safely back up your passwords for whenever you need to restore your password database, or when you want to install Sticky Password on a new or additional PC or device.
- sync your passwords and keep them up-to-date on all your devices (Windows PC, and Android and iPhone (iOS).

There are two ways to create your StickyAccount to enable online synchronization.

1- You can create a StickyAccount using the connection wizard during the Sticky Password installation.

When prompted, enter your e-mail address (we call it your Sticky ID) and a password for your new StickyAccount (we call it your StickyPass). Re-enter your StickyPass and click Create.

Note that your StickyPass is NOT your Master Password that you use to unlock Sticky Password. Your StickyPass is used to access your StickyAccount when you need to add or remove an additional device, and other maintenance of your account.

2- If you decided to skip the above step when you installed Sticky Password, don’t worry – you can create your StickyAccount right from Sticky Password. Simply unlock Sticky Password, and click ‘Enable online sync’ in the Main window to launch the connection wizard to create your StickyAccount.
